What does Anxiety have to do with Opinion?

Anxiety has been a major part of my life. If you don’t know, my name is Nolan Rockers and I’m the Founder of Opinion. I have had anxiety, more specifically, Generalized Anxiety Disorder since about 6th grade. Anxiety is a funny thing, every person has a different trigger(s) for their anxiety, and one of my biggest ones is having an anxiety attack and embarrassing myself in front of people, by either passing out, or throwing up (which neither has ever happened).

As a grew older, and started to understand my anxiety, I realized that literally nobody cared that I had anxiety, it wasn’t embarrassing, and that I was just stressing myself out over nothing. That’s where I cam up with the phrase “You are your biggest critic” Because in this instance, it stands for me understanding that I’m the only one who can make myself feel embarrassed, because if I am comfortable with who I am and my anxiety, then it won’t matter what other people think as long as I know I’m comfortable in my own skin.

I challenge you, to take a step back and ask yourself if you’re living your life the way you want to, or are you living it to someone else's standards? Do what you want to do with your life. Why? Because it’s YOUR life. Be comfortable with who you are, if you’re not, that’s totally ok, but make steps to better yourself and start moving towards becoming happy with who you are.
